Please don't have a heart attack but ...

Yep, it's me! I know, I know it's been a while!
So, I moved into my lovely new house. I am so happy with it. It's tiny, compact, PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT! I love it!
Blaise & Thumper have settled in too, Thumper, well nothing phases my evil, yet cute, rabbit, he settled straight away, Blaise, well he took a while. I had a week off with him, while he whimpered, howled, puked, wandered aimlessly & was generally unsettled & then when I thought I was about to lose my cool with him, he settled! We stayed at my mums one night & when I got home & let him out of the car he went mental! Wagging his tail, jumping around everywhere doing his whole "mum we're home, we're home, let me in, give me a treat, we're home" excitedness! That made it.
Me, well, my first night here was spent with my best mate, a bottle of champagne, a pizza and a DVD! My second night, just me and the boys, I was home. I can't believe how soon it really felt like home. Waking up & hearing horses trotting down the road was just amazing. I've moved into a slightly more rural area than I have ever lived in & I love it. The bus service is shocking but hearing horses going past your house on a Sunday morning - bliss.
Anyway, hope you have a great weekend. I'll try not to leave it so long next time!

OK I'll try again ...

Well I am in a better mood now so this one might actually be a bit of a longer post! I have just come back from the solicitors where I signed papers & my solicitor is going to try & get a completion date of 31/8/07. AMAZING! YAY! WOOHOO!!!
Shit, I gotta pack! I really don't know what I am going to do with all my stuff. Arrrggghhhh!!! Oh well I am just way too excited now to be thinking of that.
I'm about to celebrate with a glass or 3 of wine.
Ahhh I don't know what else to write, I'm so excited my hands are shaking!!
Can I please go now to jump around & scream like a loony???!! please!!

Gone too long.

Sorry, I'm a terrible blogger.
Some of you have been calling for an update - so ....

I am still waiting to sign contracts on my new house. I have been being messed around by solicitors which has been quite annoying to say the least.

As Dave has now bought me out of this place he has moved back in, I wont be moving for a while so I am having to live with him. It's not as bad as I was thinking it would be but I have got quite used to living alone & I just want him to shut up and go away!

Anyway, that's about all I have for now (yea I know, it's not a lot!) will try & catch up soon.

Sorry I've been gone so long. Househunting sucks big time!!! It takes up so much of your time - how rude!
Anyway, I have just put an offer in on a one bed house & it's been accepted. I just hope I can get the mortgage sorted now.
It's small, but it's lovely. It's cute I guess! It has a lovely garden and the bedroom is big enough to house my shoes & clothes & of course my wonderful Blaise. I hope it doesn't take him too long to get used to a new home. This one is the only one he's known. I worry too much about him, what if he doesn't settle in? I am so worried about him settling in, what about me? The location (or at least what I have seen of it!) is nice, I need to drive round more & get my bearings, find a park for Blaise & a shop or two for me & of course the bus route to work!
I hope I get a mortgage offer now. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Sorry I've been gone so long, I've gotten terribly addicted to Facebook!
So quick update, house is on the market at last, Dave's currently trying to buy me out & hopefully we'll find out next week if he can. I've been flat hunting & am totally peeved at the house prices here in Bristol. I can't believe I'm only likely to get a one bed flat for my money. That is going to be a total wrench, moving out of a huge 3 bed house with 60ft garden into a poxy one bed flat! Me, Blaise & Thumper are going to be way too close for comfort!!

Right, I'm gonna go do a bit more househunting & also try visit you all!

Food, food, food!!!!

My weekend totally revolved around food! Thursday (cos Thursday really is the new Friday & therefore the start of the weekend!) I went out with some girlfriends for dinner to celebrate a birthday. We went to a gorgeous fish restaurant where they have an early evening deal of two courses for £11.00 but of course after a wonderful starter & main course they brought the dessert menus & we just had to indulge!! Friday I went out with my sis for a pub tea & of course more dessert! We ordered 2 & shared both but only managed to eat about half of each before realising that one dessert between us would have been enough. There were some very nutty & possibly extremely drunk Britney Spears fan dancing around like loonies, at first it made us laugh but then it got rather annoying!! Saturday I went round a friends for Pizza & a film, we watched Jonny Was - I adore Vinnie Jones so I was drooling! Then Sunday, dad invited me for lunch, he left for a conference today & isn't back til Saturday & mum was having a girlie weekend so me, dad & sis ate in the garden (& had dessert surprise surprise) & then dad & I fell asleep in the sunshine for a while. I am a teeny bit pink today!!! & rather bloated from all those desserts!
